Jessica Bodon - clerk

Jessica is the Branch Manager of PeoplesBank in the Village Commons office.  She graduated from Western New England University with a MBA in 2010.  Jessica is a lifelong resident of South Hadley and joined the South Hadley Granby Chamber in 2008.  She is the Chair of the Membership Committee for the Chamber.

Carol Constant

Carol Constant is the Director of Community Engagement at The Loomis Communities responsible for the philanthropy and community outreach and engagement programs.  She previously served as Director at Wistariahurst Museum in Holyoke, MA and Annual Giving and Special Gifts Officer at Mount Holyoke College.  Carol is co-founder and board member of Music and Arts South Hadley.

Cathleen Lee

Cathleen is a Retail Banking Officer and Branch Manager of Westfield Bank in South Hadley. She has fifteen years of retail banking experience with the last ten years in management. She is a on the Board of Directors for both the South Hadley Granby Chamber of Commerce and Guidewire, Inc in Springfield. In her free time Cathleen enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children.

 

Michele Lyman

Michele Lyman is the Owner and Director of Serenity Yoga in the Village Commons.  She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and a Masters Degree in Accounting from Babson College.  She has 18 years Corporate Finance experience and has been teaching yoga since 2003.  In 2016 she left her corporate life to pursue yoga full-time.  She recently received her 500-hour Kripalu Yoga Teaching Certification and is pursuing a certification in Ayurveda and Yoga.  Originally from Westfield, Michele has lived in South Hadley for over 12 years. She is currently the president of the Mill River BNI (Business Networking International) group.  Her passion is to provide a welcoming space in the community where people can come together, share an experience, and learn from one another.

Kevin McCaffrey

Kevin McCaffrey is director of government and community relations at Mount Holyoke College and has worked at the College since 1993. He serves on the boards of a number of local organizations, including the South Hadley and Granby Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Holyoke Chamber of Commerce. He enjoys the many cultural, artistic, and recreational amenities of western Massachusetts and is committed to working to bring new economic and other opportunities to the town and the Valley.

Steve Markow - Past President

Dr. Steven A. Markow openedVillage Eye Care, pc in 2001.  He joined the Chamber at that time, and has seen his practice grow over the years due, in part, to his Chamber membership. Dr. Markow is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and has been a South Hadley resident for 20 years.

Dina is our most mysterious officer, we know for sure she is the Branch Manager of PeoplesBank in South Hadley and a resident of Westfield.

Michelle Theroux - president

Michelle Theroux is currently the Executive Director at Berkshire Hills Music Academy, a residential and day program for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities.  Michelle has over 20 years of senior management experience in behavioral health services, not-for-profit organizations, and fundraising in Western Massachusetts. Michelle earned a master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Springfield College, holds a license in Mental Health Counseling, and a certificate in fundraising from Boston University. Her volunteer activities include board membership for the Women’s Fund of Western Massachusetts where she serves as Immediate Past President, Microtek and the Human Service Forum Board of Directors.

Michelle was recognized for her community involvement and business leadership in the 2007 inaugural class of Business West's "Forty Under Forty."

Darren Thomas

Darren started in the payroll industry in 2000 shortly after graduating from American International College in Springfield.  His career in Payroll Services began first as a customer service representative and then moving into management.  Darren has been with Complete Payroll Solutions since 2011 and after a short stint as a New Client Manager, he’s found professional and personal satisfaction and enjoyment in his current position in Sales.

Alex Wearn-LaFlamme - Treasurer

Alexandra Wearn LaFlamme is the Assistant Branch Manager at Florence Bank’s Belchertown branch.  She has been with Florence Bank 19 years, starting as a teller in 1998.  She was at the Granby branch from its opening in June of 2007 until she was recently promoted to the branch in Belchertown.  Alex has been the Treasurer for the South Hadley / Granby Chamber of Commerce since January 2008.  She enjoys a variety of outdoor activities and traveling.

Regina Zebrowski

Regina Zebrowski joined Chap de Laine’s Interiors in 2015 as the Sales and Design Manager. She brings 30 plus years of experience, leadership and a passion for creating and designing spaces that represent her client’s style and personality. She currently serves on the South Hadley and Granby Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee and its Board of Directors. She previously held Executive Positions with the Springfield Italian Women’s Club, the St. John the Baptist School Family School Association and Make-a-Wish of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Regina feels strongly about supporting and giving back to the communities in which we live and work by creating a positive environment for our children and families.

Imad Zubi

Imad Zubi is the Director of the Willits-Hallowell Center and Conference and Event Services at Mount Holyoke College and has worked at the college since 1991. A resident of South Hadley for over 20 years he is very interested in the fostering the growth and economic development of the community. He is a member of the South Hadley Redevelopment Authority as well as the South Hadley and Granby Chamber of Commerce.
